View Full Version : ALL lots (custom and maxis-default) stopped working

Hi everybody, wondering if someone might know anything about what kind of issue might cause this.
I've just downloaded and installed about 10 lots (so sims2packs), reloaded my game, and presumably the new cc has caused something where all newly placed lots don't appear. The previews in the menubar are there, the lot itself is placable, but when placed looks exactly like an empty lot, nothing there at all. This affects both custom lots and default lots, so I know at least that it's not because I'm missing content for any of the new ones. All pre-placed lots are exactly as should be, but anything new I place is blank. I've not tried loading a newly placed lot to see if anything's there in the lot view, but it's fairly obvious something's wrong.

Any ideas ? Thanks in advance :)

I am having the exact same problem from the exact same thing (recently installing a bunch of sims2packs but most of them were walls/floors) and now it's escalated for me. as well as lots not being visible, my whole neighborhood (default Pleasantview) has been completely wiped out. By wiped out I mean every lot (default or custom) is gone. I understand that I should have backed up and have come to terms with my sims all getting lost but I would love to find out what is up with this. I'm also on a mac.
