red screen

after i downloaded some cc from the site my sims game has this red screen over everything. my computer has a NVIDIA GeForce 410M GPU graphics card, the game has been updated to the current version,and the computer is relatively new

anyone know how to fix the red screen?

Did you remove the CC and clear your caches?

Those graphics are pretty underpowered. You'll probably want to read this and follow the suggestions:

i removed the cc and the cache files, but its still red, i tried to update the graphics drivers as well, but still its red.

Did you reduce your graphics options to minimum? Did you try running in a window? Did you try any of the other suggestions from the onboard graphics FAQ?
