Error every time I try going to a community lot?

Every time I have any sim "walk to" any community lot, when the lot loads a blue window pops up saying:
Car Ownable - Invisible - Walking Lot Transitions" #9
Error: slot number out of range.

Then my options are "Cancel", "Reset", or "Delete".

Cancel and Delete just delete the sim I sent there and then I am in live mode watching all these NPCs in the community lot but my sim never shows up.

When I choose Reset, the window just pops up again, then I hit Reset, the window pops up again, and the third time I hit Reset it deletes my sim and automatically goes into build mode and won't allow me to go into live mode.

When I go back to the residential lot my sim is gone for a couple minutes, then just sort of poofs like magic into the street.

I've tried with different sims and different lots but the outcome is all the same. :(

Any suggestions?

Usually, in the vast majority of cases, actually going through and doing the steps (doing, not just reading) fixes issues - sometimes you may be asked to remove custom content, or to patch - please rest assured that all of our FAQs have been tested by our staff and volunteers and we wouldn't suggest you do something unless it's been known to fix particular issues.
