Okay so I have all the expansions and all of the stuff packs except Sweet Treats, and I'm running off 1.34 patch.

Recently had some problems with DEP crashing my game so I finally got that figured out and now the game doesn't crash any more. However, much of my custom content in .sim3pack format, including items purchased from the Sim Store, are not showing up in game after being "installed" by the Launcher.

All of my mods that are .package format work fine. No problems there. And a few things I downloaded are showing up, but not all. I put my .sims3pack items in the My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads folder and then run the Launcher. They appear in the downloads tab. I select the ones that aren't installed (usually all, since I keep my downloads folder empty) and click install. Little square window pops up, goes through its little installing shpeal and... nothing. Not showing up. The Launcher's installed content tab says they were installed before I ran the game. Go back to the Launcher and they aren't there.

I'm running off Windows 7, too, and I can't find the Users/User/Library/The Sims 3 Preferences folder everyone keeps telling me about.

It's not a huge deal, I suppose, but I did pay money for many of the items I'm attempting to install. Kinda cheesed off that they aren't working when I put hard-earned money towards them...

Any sort of help would be appreciated. c:

Try clear "user data" = rename The Sims 3 folder in documents to something else and start launcher this will make game like when you run it the first time, copy the problem sims3pack's to the new downloads folder try installing them and see if they work then.
