Missing Files

Today I tried to upload something to the exchange. I exited the game and went to pisca to upload images for my blog. Inside Pisca I went to find my pictures, and I couldn't. I went back to my documents only to find out my WHOLE Electronic Arts file was missing from my documents.

I haven't experienced this before. I went through the FAQ so I have my specs, but everything else didn't apply well because I don't have those files anymore. EA help seemed about useless.

I haven't had any crashes or added any cc in a very long time. Nothing in any of the things I did today was new. I patched up to 10.0.96.01.3001 less than a week ago, but everything was running smoothly.

I really just want my file back :( Any help would be appreciated!

Did you check to see if it got moved into the recycle bin?

Also, this is why it's a good idea to make regular backups.

Thanks for the advice, but it wasn't there. :( I think I might be out of luck. My last back up was about a week ago, so it's not a complete loss. I just lost my most recent save which bums me the most.

well i think it is a normal thing when installed the Sims 3 on my PC it installed with the electronic arts folder easily but in the second time it installed with out the folder and the game worked well i will tell you how the game creates this folder at its first game play as recovery or extract as you could say but just don`t the electronic arts folder is used to save only not much

Did you do a Search to see if the folder perhaps got moved by accident?

Cameranutz, no. But of course that should have been my first plan of action! I found it tucked safely in my extracted files folder! Although I have no idea how it got moved, it somehow found its way there. Thank you so much for your help guys! I can now sim happily until the next mess up!
