View Full Version : Base Game Clothes Glitching

I recently got a new laptop as a birthday present and re-installed The Sims 2. When installing the base game it said there was an error, but I cleaned the disk and it proceeded to install properly. I went to play in Strangetown and when the Garden Club lady game to introduce herself she was just a beam of glitching rays. I thought somehow during the transfer of my downloads that something went wrong but I've used all the download organizers and download cleaners and nothing conflicting popped up. I decided to go through Body Shop and see if anything was glitching in there and I found that base games jeans do the same thing that happened in game, but I cannot delete base game clothing. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to reinstall, or is it something else entirely?

Sometimes it's Maxis hair, sometimes it's outfits, and now it's pants. At first it was just an issue with elders but I now discovered it in adults. Help?

Are you sure that you are using the NVIDIA graphics card for the game? If you're using the Intel graphics for the game, that would cause problems.

I guess the Intel was set as the default for Sims 2, I tried playing with the NVIDIA and the glitch did not show up when it usually does. I guess that was the problem!

Great! I'm glad that you managed to find the problem.
