I have The Sims 3 downloaded onto a Mac.
Everytime I download content, its either a .zip file or a .rar file, and I can't download it to my game to use it.
Is there a way I can use this content on my Sims game? Am I downloading it wrong?
Note: I do not own any other type of computer (e.g Windows).

Cleopatraz - I don't usually reply in forums (I know, rude!), but I recently switched to a mac and it seems like there isn't a lot of support for us out there so wanted to answer your question. You can download a free program called "KEKA" google search it and that will unzip those files. Hope that helps!!

Oh and I don't mean not a lot of support from developers and people at mts because they have really been trying to help people that have mac issues, i meant EA.

Yup, Keka is a good archive program for Mac, and Stuffit Expander is another option. Both of those are linked to in our Sims 3 CC Basics FAQ if you can't find them. :)

Macs can already open .zip files ... just double click them.
You will need another program to open .rar files, as whiterider said.
