View Full Version : My Sims Have Stopped Aging Up

I'm playing a second generation family with no custom content (the only Mod I have installed is 'no intro'). The family functioned perfectly for ages until' the daughter had her first baby and now nobody is aging at all (not even the rest of the world are progressing).

I have ensured that aging is enabled, and that story progression is on. I have deleted the cache files and moved my sims in and out of their house to see if that works. I don't know what else to try.

I know I can manually age them by using 'boolprop', but I don't want to play the game this way! Can anyone help please?

Have you tested to see if aging is also broken in a new game, or is it just this game where it is broken? (Set the lifespan for YA to 1 day for quicker testing.)

Can't believe I didn't even think of that! New game is fine.
Suppose it must just be a corrupt file then. Dammit, I really liked the family I was playing as well!

Thank you for your help!

Hi to everybody,

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I just tried to start another familu, but the problem happened again.
I'm desperate, please help me!
The game and related expansions are originals.
I've also updated the game and the expansions...I really don't know what to do, it is so annoying playing in that way! :(
Thank you in advance to anyone Could help me!

Try doing the Game Problem FAQ. Then you can start a new thread telling us what happened at each step.
