Hi, I have a problem with the downloads for The Sims 2. I couldn't find the answer in the helpdesk so that's why I am asking for your help here.

I have downloaded many sims, put them in the download folder and installed them. When I started the game, clicked on Create A Family and selected a sim I downloaded on this site, I noticed that the sim didn't look like how they should look according to a picture.
The make-up looks weird, as well as the eyes and many times the hair is just a normal haircut from the original sims 2 while it should be costumized.

I have no idea how to explain. I hope this is enough.
Do you know what is wrong?
The download pages of the sims I downloaded don't say that I have to download a mesh or something...

What's wrong? :o

Just because the download page doesn't say you need a mesh, doesn't mean you don't need one. Not everyone is as conscientious about this as they ought to be.

Also, if you don't have all the EPs the creator had, you may well be missing a mesh that came with one of them.

Your best bet is to talk to the creators of the various sims.

Okay, thank you very much.

Some creators put the pictures of their Sims through [heavy] editing before uploading, so even if you have every single mesh, you still won't get the Sim you saw on pictures. I appreciate those creators who put CAS pictures of their Sims next to "promotional" beautiful ones, so I know what exactly I'm going to have in game.
