System Win XP. Original, Nightlife, Open Business.
Usual kitchen fire takes place. One sim dies immediately. Another is panicking. Grim reaper appears to collect sim #1. During the visitation, Sim 2 manages to catch fire and die. As that is happening, Grimmy watches TV and exits the house. I save and exit too, because everyone disappered. I visit the house again, and find there's a family on the lot. Dead Sim 2 is listed as living there, but it's still the scene you get when all sims are dead. I can only add another sim to the family.
Although this is not about a Pescado hack, I did use it to attempt repair. I moved another man in, merged the families.. then "bring out your dead" which kicked Sim 2 from the family. Still no tombstone. Apparently, the little batbox couldn't fix anything. or maybe I made it worse.
Someone lives there now. He swept up the ashes, and I assume swept up Sim 2 also. Still no tombstone for this sim. I see no signs of an impending BFVFS nor any neighborhood corruption. I can still play at this point, but I am looking for that sim's tombstone. Her data is still in good shape, preent in SimPE. Her other category is ticked "Is ghost" but none of the other boxes were ticked. Other ghosts have them all ticked. The game acts as if she's dead.
May I supply other info? I'm not sure i can fix anything or generate a tombstone. I'm checking to make sure the 'hood is safe and maybe find her tombstone.
