View Full Version : sims wear clothes to bath?

Whenever my sims go to take a bath, or anything else that requires them to go naked, they don't change! For example, if they are wearing pajamas when I tell them to go shower, they do the changing "spin" but the outfit doesn't change and they shower in their pajamas.

This problem is only happening in one family, it happens to teens, kids and adults (I haven't tested toddler yet) of both genders and only recently born sims appear to have the problem. I've tried everything from changing them into maxis outfits, deleting my suspicious files (all clothing and mod files that were recently added) to moving them to a new lot, cloning them doesn't work either. I've also deleted my cache and cigen files.

I'd hate to remove this family as it is my legacy family.. please help!

I'd hate to remove this family as it is my legacy family..

You'd "remove" (I hope that doesn't mean "delete") a Legacy family over a visual glitch? Seems rather drastic, if that's all that's going on.

Sounds like you've tried several of the most basic troubleshooting measures, but have you been through the entire FAQ? If not, give that a shot.

I have tried the FAQ.
I narrowed down the problem file to one skin file which I thought was the cause of the problem. It was the only file in my downloads folder while the problem still persisted. But when I put back the rest of my CC the problem started again, even though I deleted that file.

But when you remove all your Downloads, the problem resolves? There must be more than one file causing this issue.

Yeah, that's what I thought too.
But honestly there's too many CC in my game to go through every one of them.
I'm thinking to just keep playing and just hope it doesn't occur to any other sims ):

It doesn't take as long as you think it takes. You don't have to do them one by one; use the 50% method.

But it's up to you how much it bothers you.

The 50/50 Method is quite efficient.
