What's your favorite family to play that you've created? Why is it your favorite family? Mine is the Banner family (lame last name I know :P) because I absoloutly adore the 2 daughters, Paisley and Janika. 2 of the best sims in my entire game :)

Mine was The Valentines Day Show (weird i know but my sims liked to perform at a time around V day) they werent related at all i dont think except for the two children might have been sisters but i am not so sure. ANYWAYS they like had their own little bakery type thing where the whole family had to come and help out (kinda like a family bakery) and they just made food for visitors lol but it was fun and i liked it. THinking of rebuilding it because it was pretty cool. Thats the one that corrupted. :( oh wells! P.S. I liked that family because they were all close and they always hung out together!

Mine has to be the Suezas. They are not in my empire city, as I am taking a hiatus from that, but they are a small family that I sort of based on a favorite show of mine. It started with a woman and her husband and the woman's sister. Then I got Karli (the sister) alien pregnant and Mandi regular pregnant. I'm using the same first letters from the characters of the show for each name, and am naming Mandi's kids after her friends on the show (Karli's basis didn't have any actual friends, so I just named her alien daughter Paisley).

My favorite family that i created on the sims 3 ( because i love the sims 3 better than 2 XD) is the Walker family. it started out with a boy and a girl who was roomates but they fell in love. they ended up moving into a bigger home as their careers increased. then, they decided to have children. they had Tripplets..Bella, Annabella, and Kaleb...i know Kaleb is a little off but whatever. they all did great in school and all was in afterschool activities. the parents got so rich, that by the time they became teens, they were in a mansion. then once they all because YA, the parents gave the home to the only boy because he was the only boy. Kaleb is currently married with 5 children, his oldest son Nolan, his adopted daughter Jordana, and his 3 tripplet babies..Trinity, Tegan, and Teralyn. i love them all!! <3

Probably my recent family - the Wahlbergs. I rolled for zodiac sign, primary and secondary aspirations. Started out with a female Pleasure/family college student, and she married a fellow student who is primarily Romance, and rolled Fortune as a secondary. They both had a happy wedding, thanks to the party being great and both spouses being considered 'rich sims'. They have four kids, including one alien baby. I may have both of them spawn plantbabies since they are both plantsims now.

My favourite family by far is the Brettwaites. I have never played one family for so long! The Brettwaites were founded by Jared Brettwaite. Here he is on his wedding day with his wife Dagmar.

The Brettwaite clan is getting big now - 26 individuals (included the deceased founder and his wife), 18 of whom are related by blood to Jared. You can see the family tree here (http://www.familyecho.com/?p=VZZT5&c=gti4zlczjn&f=260730702113484551). The family members are now split up between six households, including one college residence. I play them all in a strict rotation so that everyone's ages remain correct in relation to each other.

I do have a few favourites in the family. Kayleigh Long, Jared's second child, is probably my all-time favourite. She attended university, graduating with honours in Psychology. She is now married with four children, ranging in age from 1 to 32 yeardays old! Two of her four were the results of alien abductions, the other two are (cheesecake) twins with her husband Benjamin Long. She is perma-plat as she completed her LTW of topping the Intelligence career track. Here she is at her wedding with her new husband and my second favourite sim, who I'll tell you about below the photo.

My second favourite sim is Kayleigh's eldest child Cassiopeia McAuley, who was the result of an alien abduction when Kayleigh was a teen. Like her Mum, she also attended university, graduated with honours in Medicine and meeting her now-husband whilst she was there! Cassiopeia is now married and has two children of her own - one of whom was also the result of an alien abduction!

My final favourite is Sheryl Jitmakusol, second daughter of Jared's eldest daughter Rebecca Gothier and her ex-lover Phil Jitmakusol. She's just started university, though she already has a baby from an alien abduction. His name is Orion. She's keen to learn and, like her cousin Cassiopeia, will be studying Medicine at university, though unlike Cassiopeia she hopes to go on and do a Masters degree and maybe a PhD so she can achieve her LTW. The photo below shows her on her sister Leanne's wedding day. Sheryl was pregnant at the time, and Leanne is chatting away to her belly...

To be honest I really just love the whole family! :-) I'm thoroughly enjoying playing them. Like I said, I've never played a family for this long before and I've become very attached to them. I'm also enjoying seeing how the genetics pass down through the generations. Several of Jared's grandchildren (Sheryl Jitmakusol, Benjamin Long II & Alice Brettwaite) and great-grandchildren (Gareth McAuley) have his "army green" eye colour even though his three children all have his wife Dagmar's brown eyes! I love recessive genes... :-)

Mmmm? My favorite sims family? Well normally I get really bored with my families, I'm always coming out with new ideas so I never really stay on one for long. However, my current family is one I absolutely love. It's a sims 3 family, called the Proctors. They're actually based on the characters from Arthur Miller's, The Crucible. They are part of my new old school era project. Basically they consist of Elizabeth Proctor, the wife of John Proctor. Outwordly she appears very cold and removed , however, as the story progresses we learn that she is actually very self-conscious about herself and her general worth as a wife and person. She is also very suspicious of her husband after his affair with their servant , Abigail Williams. This causes the resultant loss of faith in her husband and their marriage. John Proctor is a very passionate and hard working man who, during hiis wife's difficult pregnancy, sought comfort with their servant Abigail. Later after being confronted by his wife, he confessed and broke off the affair with the young Abigail. Angry and somewhat obsessed, Abigail desperately tries to win back his affections, to no prevail.

They have two sons, William and James, and a little girl called Isabella. However this is my own addition to the story, seeing as how in the book it is mentioned that they have children, however, the children are never described or named. The fun part of this family is that it is all set in a time without technology, meaning that my sims get to live full and enriching lives without technological entertainment. John is a fishermen and grows his own fruit and vegetables on their farm. He also has two horses who he uses to breed foals for racing and competitions. This is how he supports his family. Elizabeth stays home and looks after the children, while reading comfortably beside the fire.

Game note: it took aaaggeesss to convert the town to being completely technology free, as well as giving everyone new old school clothing :)
Ironically the ingame story progressed basically just like the actual play (In terms of everything described earlier)

Wow, I feel like I just wrote my english essay, considering that we are actually reading this book currently (Of course the actual elements of the plot are not included, such as the Salem Witch trials etc ect XD)
Thanks for being patient and reading my incredibly, hopefully not boring, post :)

What would be your favorite Sim family you ever had on the Sims 2?

My favorite family that I loved was the Windsors. They were Technophobes, and hated any technology. They enjoy reading, and other stuff that is not related to electronics.
