So my Sims take 3+ hours to cook. I just recently updated to patch 1.34, i've tried deleting my DC cache... The thing is that it only happens with the Sims I create. It doesn't happen with premade Sims, they all cook for regular times. With my Sims, they will add ingredients to the cutting board for 3+ hours and it's the same ingredient over and over again. What would cause an issue only with my Sims? I've tested the only mods I can imagine conflicting with it. It has to be some kind of CC though but I can't imagine clothing causing an issue. :/ I updated all of my mods too. It happens regardless of cooking skill or the Natural Cook trait. I couldn't find any other posts about the same issue.

Ok, have you tried the Game Problem FAQ? http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Sims_3_Game_Problem
People have the silly idea that a computer program is always logical. It's not. Sometimes it has really silly things written into it, like "If this is a date, the year always begins with the digits 19" (I hope you aren't too young to remember the y2k panic?)
I can't see how clothing would affect cooking either, but the way to find out what -is- causing the problem is to go through the FAQ.

Yeah I've tried all that. It isn't a mod though. It has to be some kind of CC I have though because it only happens to my main Sim. I tried creating other ones and they're fine. My main ones tend to be pretty much the same. I am just trying to figure out what it could be. It almost seems like it has to be something stupid like a pair of shoes because it's so specific to just certain Sims. I deleted all my saves, made new families and worlds... I'm baffled.

What it is is that they will, while making waffles for example, begin their preparation breaking an egg and they will break an egg 50+ times, for about three hours, and then finally go to the stove whereas regularly they'll break an egg or two, pour milk once, then go to the stove etc.

Wow... So I think it might have been an outdated slider mod I got from this site. The "10 New CAS Sliders." I am going to do some more testing but after making a person without those sliders, the issue went away.

That sounds like you found the problem. :)
(By the way, they really do prefer you to edit your post here, rather than double or triple posting.)
