How do you (safely) get rid of a lot and the cc that came with it?

I downloaded a few lots that had tonnes of cc and now I want to get rid of both the lot and the cc :|

You can safely delete the lots from the lot bin first , then from the Teleport folder. I've tried deleting from Teleport first , then deleting from the lot bin and my game has crashed upon attempting to delete them. So the order matters(or did for me anyway).

As far as the cc goes , that depends on where you routed it when you installed the lots. Everything in my dl folder is subfoldered , nothing loose at all. So when I install a lot using clean installer , I send all the cc to the Downloads folder , then I scoop up all the loose cc from each lot and put it in a folder called , for example , Echo's Carnival. Then that folder goes in a folder called Stuff from Community lots , that folder ( and a Stuff from Residential lots folder) both reside in a folder called Stuff from lots , which sits in my Downloads folder. That makes it incredibly easy to find anything that came with any lot you installed.

If you don't know where the cc you got from the lots ended up , then you may want to consider re-downloading the lots you want to get rid off. Use clean installer and route it where you have it segregated , labeled and can find it easily. Then run clean installer for an MD5 check. That will show your (now) duplicate files in pink allowing you to track down and delete the loose cc from your first install. Then you can just delete the entire organized cc folder(s) from your second install. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the reply MookieBlay! Before you replied, I had found over 200 files like "a76ef392100fdf6e156910f83ac42738_0003.package" so I figured that was the cc that came with the lots. I deleted them and, tada! The custom content was gone. I also removed the lots using the clean installer. Your tips are much more efficent and I thank you again for providing them :-)
