I've stuffed up my pupil token, help ??

I'm having problems with the school set from simological, I made a school and I had the pupil tokens. I wanted the cafeteria guy to come you know from the dorms in University so I first turned the lot into a community lot and then into a dorm. The cafeteria lady came but then I realized that I can't click on the Sims that are there from the pupil token and control them, I can only control the people who actually live in the lot. The option to click on them is there and the Sims are still at my school doing stuff but I can't click on them. I even tried turning it back into a residential lot but it still doesn't work. Help ? I don't know what happened and I can't fix it. :cry:

The way to get a cafeteria working is to use the hacked uni cook top. No need to go changing the lot zoning, just put the hacked cook top in and the game will generate a cafeteria worker. I'm not sure I understand what else is going on, but just set the lot as residential and make sure it has a letter box and bin, put up your pupil tokens and enrol your students. Un-enrolling them first if need be to make sure it's all working properly. If your lot is residential and doesn't have a mail box it won't work.
