Hello! I am having a big pain trying to get CC (eg pose player, omsp) to work. The test items (nobuildsparkles and nointro) work perfectly fine, but that seems to be the only CC that will work with my game. My game version is 1.33. I have repeatedly looked through all of your help forums and I just can't seem to figure this out. They just don't simply show up. I do not have the d3dx9_31.dll file installed because your CC help forum said it was not needed if I was using the new method (my documents). I have all the expansions up to Showtime. If I need to post information please let me know, Please help. I'm desperate I have been working on this all night.

If the new CC is compatible, and you are putting it in the same folder that the nointro and nobuildsparkles are, it should be working. Unless maybe you have been forgetting to extract it?

Yes I know how to download and extract. Here are screen shots of my sims 3 folders

(the extra folders in the packages were suggested in the help guide, and this problem occurred with or without the organization)

I still haven't gotten it :/

Are those CC meant for 1.33 or some other version? That's what Ghost meant by compatible. Because, the base game on 1.33 is outdated at this point. Game Help:Patch_Table
The reason the 2 test files work is because they are meant for base game and all subsequent patches have not modified these 2 resources at all, which is why we use them as test files as they are good candidates for it.

And you missed this part of the Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Not_Working - "Resource.cfg Contents?". That would confirm if the subfoldering would work, or if a different Resource.cfg snuck in or something with all the copy+pasting.

Have you used Dashboard to check for conflicts?
