I've been trying to install the round 2 foundation for the past 3 days now, and every time I click install on the launcher or directly on the file the install screen stays black and stops responding. I've waited for a half hour to see if it is just slow, but it doesn't do anything. I tried to install things from the store to see if it was just the lot, but nothing installs. I've tried restarting my computer numerous times but nothing works! I'm on OSX Lion 10.7.3 and a fully patched game with all EP's, version 12.0.273.017001. I don't know if there is a way to fix this, or install a lot without the launcher, or should I re-install my game/the latest EP?
EDIT: I fixed this myself, by renaming Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 to OLDThe Sims 3 and let the game make new files, then I transferred all saves, sims, and CC over to the new set.
