I've searched everywhere, and some places more than once (or even twice), trying to find a tutorial for creating overlays for witches (so no more funny yellow speckles or ugly green skin). More specifically one that is easy to understand and follow (preferabbly with guide pictures) for a beginner creater like me.

If any of you are able to help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :D

ps: my apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, I wasn't having an easy time of it trying to navigate your site/forums.

I've already made a mod that removes the overlay for green skin/speckles. You can always just download the one I have. Or if you'd prefer to learn how to do it yourself, you can open up my skin package and examine the resources to see how it's done; iirc I found and exported the material definitions for the witch skins by searching using the resource finder in SimPE, and then pointed them all to the blank overlays used for the neutral witches instead of the green/sparkle overlays.

Thanks. I'd definitely prefer to learn how to do it myself, but I don't know if I can actually manage to do it without some sort of step-by-step thing. I mean, I know how to use my photo editing program just fine, so the whole colouring/sparkles/whatever-i-decide isn't a problem... but knowing exactly what files to edit, which ones not to touch and that sort of thing baffles me a little.
