Hi my Body Shop crashes because there were some items in there that was corrupting my game, I did the 50/50 thing where I remove half the contents in my Saved Sims folder and add little by little until i figured out what the culprit was. I have never touched this folder so I don't know why it is crashing my game midway through the start up loading process.

The only thing I recalled was last week when I went into body shop and spent 5 hours deleting a ton of CC.

My question is this...What do I do with my Saved sims Folder? And where can I find an online explanation of its function? I've tried to google this but the only thing that came up were Sims 3 related stuff.

Thanks!

The Saved Sim folder is where the game stores the sims you download, extract from SimPE, or build in Bodyshop and can then access in CAS. Presumably one of your sims package files got corrupted somehow. Since you said you figured out which one it was, just delete it.

I once had a glitch that crashed the game every time I tried to buy clothes. At that time the only sims in my Saved Sim folder were ones I'd extracted myself in SimPE and had done nothing with. Presumably I screwed up at some point, or the computer had hiccupped. I deleted the whole folder and just redid it, because I was sick to death of testing, and extracted them again.

You can use the 50-50 method on your SavedSims folder, just as you do on your Download folder, to find bad CC.
