Last Name Question

So I have a question about how a last name would be passed on. I have a teen dating an older guy, and I'm considering having her get pregnant. Then I would have them get married, while she's still pregnant. I just want to know if the baby would have her surname, since it was conceived before marriage, or her married name, as it would be born after she's married and has assumed her husbands name. I know it's possible to change that in SimPE, but it's just an annoyance I don't wanna go through.

I'm thinking that the child would have the married name. In fact I am almost sure of it.

It gets the name that its mother has at the moment of birth. She could get married 50 times during pregnancy, it wouldn't matter.

If she was called Smith during conception but married and had the name Jones during birth the baby would be balled "Baby Jones"

I've had Brandi Broke remarry before her third child was born, the little guy wound up with his stepfather's last name, but the family tree still showed Skip Broke as the father.

So yeah, it's what the mother's surname is at the time she gives birth.
