It just started doing this a few minutes ago. I've tried to replay about five times now. I even stopped using boolprop the last time just in case that was the problem, and it still crashed to desktop yet again.

I also cut all background task off and installed new Intel drivers and it still did the same thing.

Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 1760MBThis may be your problem. Your computer isn't up to playing the game. Please read the following FAQ:

Thanks,I read those links a while back and definitely have been having some problems with the integrated graphics card. I've been getting what the links called artifacts. This happens mostly when my Sims go buy clothes. Or at least one sim in the family would have some graphical issues behind their icon or their face wouldn't show up at all as a icon. I turned most of settings(they were all on high) to medium or off and that seem to fix the problem. However, I'm beginning to think this crash might be boolprop related. I left the sims alone and turned the entire computer off, for a least an hour, then tried to play the sims again. This time without my favorite cheat and it didn't crash. I even played for another two hours, but that was last night let's see what the morning holds lol.

To starve off any more potential graphical issues I'm thinking about taking my old nvidia geforce graphic card, from my old gaming computer, and inserting it in this Intel computer, but I'm not tech savvy and so I'm afraid of screwing something up. :(

someone there should be able to help.

Almost anything is better than an integrated chip. Even base game only on very low settings is iffy for them.
