Well, after re-installing Sims 2 because of its freezing problem I decided to give it a last go.. or well I wouldn't give up till I could play it! I only have a bit of custom content, like twenty five items, that includes a chrome document that comes in some downloads. But I will list the problem below.

Recently I installed Sims 2, and after giving up with it freezing on the Pets expansion I just decided to have the base game, celebration stuff, night life, and seasons on it and I checked if it froze on Sims 2 with just the base game including the expansions/stuff packs, and the base game, celebration stuff, and nightlife are all in one. And than I checked after Seasons and it still ran great! I also checked after installing some CC like Legend Of Zelda Sims like.. Agitha and Sheik, and it still worked fine.

Well I'm not sure whether or not it has to do with the other CC because I decided to head into Pleasant View. (Sorry if it is one name). And when I went into CAS I was able to make five sims with the generator. (The thing that combines the parents DNA together), and also the single sim icon, both worked, even with a little bit of the CC I put on them like makeup, clothes, etc. So again I tried it in my custom neighborhood, and it froze when I was choosing a formal outfit I believe, which was CC as well. Is it something to do with my custom neighborhood? Or CC. I couldn't find my problem in the guide to do things on your own.

One more thing, I didn't download a neighborhood, I clicked the button to create it on your own.

Edit: Here are my system specs

And I know multiple people said something about my graphics in other topics, but honestly I don't think its because of that.

Edit: I made some progress, so far I was able to make two Sims without it freezing, i'll try it a second time. The baby generator chooser made it freeze sadly..
Well I tried it again and it froze on the second sim again.. So back to square one.

Please do the Game_Help:Game_Problem FAQ.

You should also give us your system specs:

Well, sorry I didn't reply right away, I'm currently doing online school and so I was busy with that. But I tried what was on the FAQ with the game help and everything seemed fine when I removed the CC, I was able to make two sims without any freezing, and also generate a child in CAS as well. When I did add it back I saw freezing problems again. So I'm doing the next thing which is go one by one, removing a group of downloads that are together. Like say there may be four files in a download for a shirt, so I'm doing that and opening the game. After you reply, or someone else, I will tell the progress I made, if any.

If your game works without CC, then you have a CC problem. The game problem FAQ explains how to narrow down your bad CC.
