Picked Upload
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi there! You're having a good summer?? This is my 2nd upload here.It is a collection of 43 walls and 4 floors, an Asian theme this time. 11 painted walls, 17 wallpapers, 15 panels, 4 carpets. If you download all 3 collections (Medallion, Samarkand and this one), you'll end up with 22 new floors and 104 new walls. ***** UPDATE ***** Now I added a collection file! So now you won't have to browse your 100,000 custom walls/floors to find them. It's BillieLith_AsianCollections_Chinoiserie.zip HOW TO INSTALL A COLLECTION Unzip, and you'll find two .package files and one .img file. Place the .package files in your Collections folder. That's usually found in : C:\Documents and Settings\your name here\My documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections There should be an Icons folder in your Collections folder, that's where you need to place the .img file (custom icon). If there is no Icons folder in your Collections folder you can create one. Note for newbies: the "Collection" .package doesn't contain the Walls/Floors. It's just a list that puts them all together for an easier access. If you want the walls/floors you have to download the other files. Everything was tested in-game and all seams are nearly invisible, except for several-story walls. Some of my plain walls might look a little like Maxis' but aren't. They're of specific colors and were really made to match exactly my decorative walls. For example, my "white" plain wall isn't exactly 100% white. I really hope you'll like this set. I do. Please click the "Thank you" button for my hard work (newbie here)! Ciao ! xx Additional Credits: Most of the textures I used for this upload were taken from the website of : ~York Wall Coverings~ plus I used some Maxis stuff for the borders. 443 people have said thanks to billielith for this download.
