Forum Romanum

Welcome at the Forum Romanum! There are several places to be visited on this 5x6 lot. There's a mall to do your shopping, whether you need new clothes, food, perfume or a pet. You can even buy computer games, but I tucked those items away, because they don't really contribute to that Ancient feel, now do they? There's also a restaurant for the hungry or for those going on a date. No self-respecting Roman would go without regular bathing, so there are Thermae too. After all this exertion, there are luscious gardens where you can relax, or maybe enjoy a game of chess. The building that looks like a temple is empty. You can use it as a temple, or you can choose to give it another destination.

As this is my first entry ever, I've decided not to add any custom content, so as not to complicate things. This means that the lot doesn't look as Roman as it could! There's plenty of stuff to be found on this site and on the 'net, if you wish, and those who for any reason prefer not to have custom content, well, this lot is Maxis only. I am however working on mosaic floors and walls to make the thermae look better, and I'm also working in a fresco featuring nubile Roman girls going for a swim. And if I'm ever brave enough to try SimPE, my first job will be recolouring the chaise-longues next to the pool. I really wanted blue ones! We'll see if it ever happens.

Anyway, I enjoyed making this lot, I hope you'll enjoy playing it.
