"Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Haunted Mansion!"

Ever since I was a Little Child I have been enchanted by the beauty of the Haunted mansion at Disney Land California. And as a life long player of the sims what better way to full fill my dreams of living there by giving my sims the privilege I do not! The Exterior of the Haunted Mansion is utterly beautiful, from the Ironwork and gardens to the Cupola that crowns the structure! So of course I had no choice but to pursue building it!

Perhaps the hardest part of this build was figuring out the interior of the house. The Layout as presented by the ride make no logical sense and wouldn't actual be able to fit into the shell that is the mansions face. And so I had to get creative and try to make a layout that works but still giving nods to the ride itself and so this is my final result!

It took quite a few tries for me to find a layout that I was happy with, and fit in everything that I wanted. I tried to include the Gallery you first enter into, the long hall after that, the Balcony in the dining room, and the ghost bride in the attic. Though I am bummed that the creepy changing pictures stop doing their changing effect when they are sized up, oh well.

I really wanted to make this cc free for two reasons. First I modded the sims 3 till it broke and so once I started the sims 4 I decided that I would not do any Object mods. Just sticking to CAS and utility mods. And Second I hate having to give a shopping List of mods you'll have to search out and download, with no guarantee that the mods will work forever!

P.S. the Haunted Mansions exterior Shell was based upon a real house, the he Shipley-Lydecker House that unfortunately was demolished!
