Well, after the second season of Loki, retrofuturism's been on the brain, and after a few failed starts (thanks to curved walls not working well with straight ones), I finally got a house finished. It's more retro than retrofuturism, but I threw a few sci-fi touches in there, and as both my own home and a house at which I spent holidays were built in the '70s, I added a few touches from those eras as well, particularly the guest/game room that's a converted garage--mostly because I couldn't figure out how to split-level the garage without breaking the foundation and still leaving it enclosed, and the living room needed its conversation pit, dang it--and I genuinely researched what kinds of plants were popular in '70s landscaping.

A few atrocious '70s remnants linger, mostly the carpeted bathrooms (what were they thinking?), but the house is almost exclusively decorated in a mixture of Mid-Century and Cosmolux, with a few things upgraded to indicate the "home of the future", like the roomba, talking toilets, retro rocketship pad, and water vapor collector. There are also two storage rooms and an entertainment patio by the bar!
