Created content not showing up post ofb but did pre-ofb

I have a friend who made some content pre ofb. When you install her content post ofb it doesn't show up in game. This has been tested with and without FF pack and it will show up fine on pre OFB systems. The content is clothing only.
The other factor is she uses Daemon tools to mount an image of the game disc to play. She does have the disc, but doesn't use them as little fingers have been known to do horrible things to cd's.
As much as I insist she doesn't want to use the originals.
Any idea's?

Try it with the original discs used as they were intended, there are problems associated with using images.

i think i have the same problem...

Except, i installed OFB, got sick of it just not working, (kept telling me i had put in the wrong disk when the disk was CLEARLY in my cd-drive) now i've deleted and re-installed everything without OFB (i.e. re-installed sims 2, then university, then nightlife) my downloaded objects are working, but none of the clothes / make-up / acessories are.

3 times now i have deleted and re-installed everything and i'm getting really sick of it now.

+ i would really like to get OFB to work... i heard maybe having deamon tools open might make it have problems? but i can't turn off deamon tools since we got a virus a while ago and it deleted some things and the only way we could find to fix it was with mounting some thing on deamon, so when i shut daemon down my computer makes lots of random problems, like shortcuts just dissapearing, files being in the wrong place etc.
