What determines the Image Size in Buy Catalog Thumbnail?

I notice that when I create new objects, they don't always "fit" the thumbnail view in the buy catalog. Sometimes they are offset and small and sometimes they are larger than the frame and partially cut-off.

Is there a way to correct the size so that the image fits the thumbnail?

BTW-these are not huge objects to which I refer, normally they are only 1-tile wide objects that are no taller than the ingame mailbox.

yes, there is a way to correct this.
the info his held int he objects CRES. You need to delte the entry found under the thumbnailExtension- see atatched image
