neighbourhood Maxis terrain

Hello simmers,

My Problem is, when im the neighbourhood view all the terrain is there, but soon as i enter a lot, in the background theres no terrain, just cement. and it looks funny when i have neighbourhood trees with no grass.
But soon as i go back to the neighbourhood the terrain is there again.
The trees appear fine.

is this a new problem? does it happen in all neighborhoods?

it sounds like you're in the Downtown neighborhood and you've got "show terrain" off in your settings

its not a new problem.
You mentioned about my setting with the terrain, and i had'nt thought about that lol.
i'll check it out.

well i went in and my decorations are set to on, but my grass still isn't showing in the background, just the trees. :(
