I'm pretty new to 'modding' my TS3 game with CC, (I've only been at it a few weeks) But I was hoping somebody (or a few somebodies) could help me, You see I'd love to create my own world; a world for fairies! but I have a huge problem! All of the items/clothes/trees I create myself show up in game as white-ish/gray boxes, or not at all! It breaks my heart because I've spent hours on these things only for them not to work. I've read/followed many tutorials; still nothing has worked, I've had a few of my friends try out the items and they have the same problem. I run my files through diagnostics and they all have come back clean and uncorrupted.
I came across These Beautiful mushrooms by sims_reality (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=397159) and they've worked perfectly (both in my game and for what I want/would like to do). So I'm pretty sure the problem isn't my game, but possibly the creation tools that I'm using.
I was hoping that someone could point me to more plants/items/furniture/clothing that fits in with the fairy/mystical theme? (I've already checked the official Sims 3 website/store, and I'm devastated at how much their fairy styles of furniture and clothing are!) Also; I'd appreciate it very much if someone could make an item or two for me? They weren't terribly difficult to make myself, but as I said I'm having issues with CC I've made myself I.E. gray or white cubes/boxes about the size of the item and my thumbnails show up blank as well, with just the item name in the description upon rollover. This happens even on a blank lot so I'm pretty sure that I'm not "overloading" my lot with too much stuff.
