View Full Version : How to make objects (deco bridges) walkable?

I apologise if this is the wrong subforum but it pretty much concerns CAW, and maybe some of you have had the same question. CAW comes with a variety of deco bridges and piers that, for some reason, are not routable (unless I'm mistaken), and I desperately want my Simmies to be able to walk on those bridges so I can use them for world building. An example would be the 'abandoned train bridge' that looks perfectly walkable - but isn't. So, how do I enable routing for this object? I had a look at the 'plank bridge' that is routable but found no clue as of yet. Possible?

I would guess that you'd have to make a clone of the wooden bridge, and substitute the abandoned bridge mesh. The best place to look for help with that would be the Create tutorial section, and the Meshing forum. :)

True, that should be easy enough to do. I kinda hoped I could simply "tune" the object itself without having to clone it. ;P Thanks again, my brain is too fried to come up with obvious solutions sometimes! *grins*
