Catherine Bell - Jag and Army Wives

Hi,

Here is my take on the first in the series of Army Wives. She plays Denise in the series.

She is very hard to do especially the eyes and the lips which are impossible to get that thick outer edge to the upper lip.

I am not going for the exact likeness of either of the two pictures but have combined elements of each so that I get a true resemblance.

~ Well, her eyes need to be stretched ad her eye shape should be decreased.
~ Maybe less shape on her lower lip just a little bit to have a square shape? (From the 2nd comparison picture)
~ Her head shape is wide and small. It's a little long right now.
~ She needs eyebrows which has the arch in the center.
~ Her chin needs to be round.. Maybe mess with the Jaw shape to make a round chin and adjust the jawline sliders.
~ She needs a bigger nose tip.
~ Ears need to be rotated more.
~ I couldn't tell which one of the two skintones on the comparison pics you will use. But I have a very strong feeling that it's the first picture because it just looks too natural and the second one looks... edited. So lighten her skintone a tad more.
~ That upper lip looks sooo hard to do. Have you tried using the outer curve slider at aWT's site? If not, maybe that should help. :)

YES, JUST A TAD, IF YOU LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF EYE WHITE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE IRIS, I DON'T WAN'T TO STRETCH TOO MUCH OR IT WON'T LOOK RIGHT

I AM GOING FOR THE SHAPE OF HER LIPS IN THE UPPER PICTURE BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE IN A RESTING POSITION THAN IN A SMILE POSITION.

I'VE TRIED THAT AND EVERYTHING BUT NOTHING HELPS - IT IS REALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THAT THICKNESS AT THE EDGES OF THE UPPER LIP.

So I found a lipstick which made her lips look thicker at the edges, but it isn't a great lipstick. Maybe I need to play around with the colour options.

She looks fabulous! :beer:
Two things I noticed:
- The RLP has the face a bit more rounded than the Sim;
- The eyes could be less "open", a little bit more sleepy I think.

I think she's got too much of a smile going on. Turn the curve down a little, but not too much since her lips curve that way anyway. Try to get her looking more neutral by bringing the corners down. Her nose and jaw look spot on, but there's something not quite right with her eyes. I think you should turn down the eye width and increase stretch a little. She's too wide eyed at the moment.

Oh and maybe these eyebrows will look good on her? The arch is a little close to the center. (What I'm talking about in my previous post)

alas my computer has been taken away to get upgraded so not going to be putting anything up for a bit. Thanks for the feedback and the link iloveyou - I don't have those eyebrows. I agree upon further scrutiny that her eyes must be a tad more squinty.

One of the best celebrity sims I've seen! The only thing I can see is the part about the eye people have mentioned. It needs to be a little more squinty :) After that I don't think you will have any problem getting her uploaded.

Here's a neutral shot for you. I know it is from a 3/4 profile shot but, hopefully it can help with some of the features to tweak. When she is not smiling, her lips are not nearly as curved as they otherwise look. I'd also suggest widening her head or jaw. It's looking a little narrow now so it makes her head look too long. Personally, I don't believe the motorcycle picture (bottom reference picture) is really a good interpretation of her, especially as an Army Wife. It almost looks like a completely different person than the other reference.
