Hello, I was looking for a talented world builder who might be interested in teaming with me to create a new fantasy based world. I was always interested in creating a fantasy world but until they release the caw tool for macs, I am stuck with buildings lots (not that I mind hah, I do enjoy building). I tried using windows on bootcamp but I bought the sims 3 on amazon, and the late night version seems to be mac only so I cannot get bridges for my caw world, which is a real bummer. All my sims games are installed on my mac side, and so I could use CAW on the windows side but it is missing so many features it seems.

The basis for the world is going to be a mix of several fantasy themes from lotr, a song of ice and fire, etc etc, and of course can always be discussed and changed. If you are good at lot building too, that would be cool since there is much to do, but basically I am looking for someone with whom to coordinate and design a whole new kind of world never seen before.

The world is going to be created (so far) in seven different areas. These include the Elven Forest, the main Human Castles (the Summerlands), the Dwarven Halls, the Hobbit Fields, the Entish Forest, the Orcish Outlands, and the secondary Human Kingdom to the North (which is going to be in either a snowy or sandy terrain in the style of Winterfell from A Song of Ice and Fire, for now we can call it the Winterlands).

Here is a quick look at some of the model homes created so far to characterize the style of each area.

The Orcish Outlands

Not done yet!

The Dwarven Halls

Not done yet!

The Winterlands (Secondary Human Area)

Not done yet!

Here is a quick list for my thoughts on which rabbit holes can go where so far –

City Hall, Theatre, Bookstore, Library and School, Fusion Lounge – Human Areas

Market, Gallery, Restaurant, Exclusive Lounge, Dance Club and small outdoor hangout – Elven Areas

Another larger outdoor hangout, Disco Club – Entish Areas

Diner – Orcish Outlands

The rest is to be discussed, including the other LN venues, rabbit holes and job areas. Thanks for reading!

Do yourself a favor. Copy and paste everything you just wrote into notepad and save it before they come along and delete it. They don't allow requests here.

Oh, I did not know that. Thanks for the advice, is there any forum on this site where I could do so. I am not really looking for a request though, just looking for an actual builder with whom to work.

I'm not an Apple user, but can't you add a partition to your hard drive and install Windows for those apps that require more than Bootcamp? Last I heard they were just putting the Mac OS on PCs anyway...

Honestly, I don't know. If they don't see it as a request then they might leave it alone. I just don't want to see someone put so much effort into a post and then have them delete it because it appears to be a request. It probably depends on the moderator who sees it too.

Creators who take requests are here:

If you want to collaborate, try finding someone who will create worlds and PM them to ask about collaboration.

Guidelines for this forum are here:

This looks very interesting, I wish you luck with it!
