Someone please help me with this!! I've checked out all the stuff in the help guide on the site and nothings worked. I download meshes right, then I download the stuff the meshes are needed for and nothing comes up. The meshes come up as package files and I dont know how to fix that. I've had to resort to trying to find things that dont need meshes that I can download. Which is sad cause there's loads of really amazing stuff I want to download but I cant. Someone please help me with this, it's driving me mad :(

Meshes do come in package files, so that's all right. When you say "nothing comes up" do you mean it doesn't appear in the buy catalog? And are you talking about clothing, catalog objects, or both? Give us a specific example.

And you did click the "enable CC" button, get out of the game, and get in again, right? The enabling happens at load-up, so the load of the game during which you click it won't show any.

Ok I downloaded a Deidara sim a while back and it told me to download two parts. I think it included the hair,body and eyepeice meshes. I go to look in my sim bin and he's not there. And i download hair meshes and it doesnt apear when im making a sim. I'm not so bothered about it showing up in the buy catalouge just as long as I can use it in the actual making of the sim

Which sim bin - the one in Bodyshop or the one in CAS? If you are looking at the sim bin in the neighbourhood, you are looking in the wrong place.

they're not in either of the bins. I'm not sure if im ment to have them in a certain folder so the game can find it or what. Do i need to put it into the sims 2 folder or will it just find it? And can you tell me CAS stands for. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

CAS stands for Create-A-Sim.

If the sim isn't showing up in the game, then you may be using the wrong age in CAS (e.g., young adult and adult sims look exactly the same, but if you download an adult sim they won't show up when you go to make a young adult, and vice versa). It's also possible that the sim is there, but you just don't recognise them - sims can look very different in those tiny thumbnails, especially if they're not wearing the clothes and hair you expect them to wear.

If the problem isn't either of those, please tell us what you did to install the sim.

Thanks for all the advice peeps. I stuck the meshes in the download folder and now they're working. I'm not normally this bad on the computer. Thank you once again
