View Full Version : Living the life in Undies

As I was looking through my recent pictures, I realized something that has been a habit of mines for years in the game. And that is, I constantly let my sim walk around in their undies without the care in the world. Even with birthday parties or when visitors come over, it never struck me as "Omg guests are over, PUT ON SOME CLOTHES" I've never really use the "change into everyday" option.

Heres a picture of a typical birthday party in hood, where there's a good amount of guests. But here the parents are in their undies, especially the granny panties.

Do you guys lets sims live most of their lives in undies/pajamas? Or do you make sure your sims are dressed for visitors & parties? How about when they walk outside of the house and do stuff around the yard? (My sims garden in their undies too) Does it even matter to you xD?

Lol, it totally depends on who is wearing the undies. ;) I make sure any good looking male sims have a nice pair as well as some chest hair as that never hurts the eyes. Granny panties though :alarm: No those get changed. :giggler:

Don (Lothario) does that alot in my game. He does everything in his undies. Hungry? Eat dinner in his undies, Bored? Play piano in his undies ... he even taught little Caden (his son with Cassandra) a nursery rhyme in his undies -- odd but no one seemed to care -- even conservative Mortimor.

Thats too funny! My sims always shower in the mornings so they're hardly ever in Pjs or their underwear :) But my pregnant sims do since they're on a different schedule than everyone else by sleeping so much ^_^

I try to make most of my sims put their damned clothes on -- though I give the hassled parents of active toddlers a break and let them entertain guests in their pajamas -- but I've fully given up with Chester Gieke. He lives in his underwear, and luckily his friends are weird enough not to be the sort of sims I think would care that he prances out the door to greet them in nothing but a pair of heart-print boxers and an a-shirt. His alien wife Stella also seems to appreciate the view (she thinks that Chester is 24/7 hot with a capital H-O-T and cleans everything in his immediate vicinity as some sort of ultra-tidy lust spillover maneuver) and I've noticed that their three kids are joining in on the all undies, all the time boat, so it must be something in the Gieke DNA. Oy.

Amusingly, another of my sims -- Gozer Howe -- seems absolutely embarrassed to be seen in his underwear by anyone other than his girlfriend Difficult. While I have to stop her from heading out to the main living space in next to nothing, he autonomously takes the shortest route he can from the bedroom to the bathroom to either bathe or shower so he'll be back in his everyday clothes. You can practically hear the theme song to Mission Impossible playing when the nearest bathroom is occupied and he has to covert-ops his way to the further one without being seen. He's not a Shy sim, either.

With various mods (skinnydipping/adult etc) in my game , undies are pretty much formal wear for my sims. If they could view your pic and comment I think it would go something like this...."Everyone has clothes on? Who died?"

hahahaaa Oh my goodness Not with the Kids around, ( Here my story ) one of my teenager father who sim wife died, well after time of being alone and raising his two boy.
Poor guy I created a Sims lady for him and move her in, all family relationship are high now.

Trying to have some moral she had her own room but the poor father always wanted to "Woohoo " her after he got to know her, Woohoo was his top want. Well I could not blame the father for having this want, after all he went without a lady Sim for so long he was busy working and raising his two boys, without a girfriend.

So one day when the kids was at school I let them both have a go at it, they both was walking around in their "undies" after this big woohoo event.
The kids came home and the father and the room mate both was walking around in their undies like it's no big thing. The kids did not seem to care It was me who got so upset and rush like mad to have them to put clothes on. Anyway they are now engage.

This is a character and family culture thing in Drama Acres. Gavigans get dressed. Hawkinses - eh, why bother? There's always something more important to do. One of the things that marked Ezekial Gavigan's determination to change himself into a Hawkins for his wife Pigeon was that I stopped telling him to get dressed.

Left to their own devices, some sims will stay in their undies in circumstances in which others will get dressed. Like, going to the store. They put outerwear on, but when they come home you can see they just threw the coat on over the boxers. Or the swim trunks. Or even the PJs. During his near-ISBI phase, when he's in mourning for one sister and living with the other and her fiancee, his best friend, at college, Tommy Ottomas has been putting himself to bed in his underwear at night and then taking a bubble bath as soon as he gets out of bed so he doesn't have to dodge Summer. When it was just him and his friend he'd get up in the morning and go paint in his drawers; the behavior changed when Summer moved in. This past rotation, when he finally officially moved on from the late Spring and woohooed Daisy Wheels, he hung around after the date was over studying in his underwear. I took that as a definitive marker of his improved state of mind. So now his near-ISBI phase is finished and he'll be getting engaged.

Good Lord, because I have a recently-acquired nudist hack in my game -- which is intended not for smuttiness but so that I can have my "naturalist" hippie cult compound, but I never remember to take the darn thing out before I start up the game and...yeah -- half the time my Sims tend to be naked, not just in undies. If they're really outgoing they're pretty much naked all the time, so we have naked cooking and naked robot-building and naked piano practicing and naked lounging-around-watching-TV and so forth. And then some of them are bold enough to be naked outside, so there's naked gardening, and naked swimming, and naked sunbathing (Thanks to the "Sunbathe anywhere" hack.), and naked chatting-with-the-mailman, and naked stargazing and...Well, you get the idea. My game can be truly bizarre. But I like it that way.

But in answer to the general question...No, I don't worry too much about making sure my Sims are appropriately dressed. Maybe that's a reflection of me. I like to be in my jammies, at best. When I was younger, before I had roommates or kids, I was generally naked when home. It's just...comfortable. My piano students are lucky that I change out of my jammies and into "everyday" clothes for them. Well, actually, I don't always. I have one student who has an early morning lesson every other Saturday, and I wear my jammies for it because mornings and I aren't compatible. So, she started showing up in her jammies, too. It's awesome. So yeah, in that sense, my game is a reflection of my life.

Most of my toddlers spend whole days in pajamas. It used to be the same with older Sims and undies, but then I started making an effort to get them dressed if they're going to be around anyone other than their spouse or lover.

icad, I installed a naked hack so my married in streaker sim in my rebuilt hood could run around naked as she pleased. (I lost her coding) I can click on any sim and pick 'adjust' and for many it comes up with the option of 'never be naked' It's all set to their personalities so only sims with enough outgoing and I think playful points will stay naked and shyer sims will always get dressed. So if it's the same hack you shouldn't have to pull it out at all.

That makes sense. I live in my pjs in real life too! Didn't see that connection. I put on my pjs whenever I get home. And I'm home most of the time anyways xD

My sims who run though the house in their undies, or even pajames, do it to express their sloppiness. When I want to break the rule, the neat sims stay in undies to be exhibitionists, elders to show their confusion, or anyone to show some desire for an activity. Of course, years after university, I still laugh at Sims who get the paper in their undies instead of pajamas.

This just happened and it's somewhat related to this topic..

Alice doesn't approve of her daughter romancing with her boyfriend...but I wonder what they think of her walking around the house with bra and panties lol

Coincidentally, this thread arose on the day I decided to address my problem with Leslie Gay (single Romance sim with no family connections - that's her brother, but they've never gotten along - or larger role in the hood who has subverted all my attempts to get her to do anything except date and throw parties - only Romance sim in Drama Acres who has never rolled a get engaged want for even an eyeblink) by having her do every group scenario in one day, each overlapping the other. She popped for the date before the outing timer ran down, and got up from woohooing to throw a party.

Since I knew her date, a Family sim who's stalking her with marriage on her mind, wasn't going to get dressed, I didn't see why I should make Leslie do it.

Are those those frilly panties Peni? I have those too. I don't have so much underwear wearing but I do have Ethan Redhouse who is high outgoing and playful and seems to wander around everywhere with no clothes on. He never gets dressed after a shower (I think I have the same nudist mod as iCad) and seems to sneak his clothes off if he gets an opportunity. It means I can't show Little Carping to friends in RL, especially since I also use the Crammyboy 'addition' <cough>. Still, I'm only wearing pyjamas myself today. It's SO hot here.

If I'm trying to get nice pictures then I manually force sims in to everyday - ditto if they're going out somewhere. Else I just leave them to their own devices.

Yep, frilly panties. Rishell there is a townie I gussied up - she comes with that vampy red and black number, yet she's a Family sim and clingy as heck. So she was one of my top priorities when I got that mod. She has a sweet demure day dress and the red-hot old-fashioned frilly undies underneath. I always try to give people appropriate underthings to their characters.

It's an awesome mesh - Madge Porter has a set of those panties. She's my old-fashioined 50s-type gal with a platinum blonde updo and rather neat womanly clothes and who almost looks like she might have originated in Stepford but she has a core made of steel - Tempered Steel, I tell you. She runs a very successful hairdressers and beauty salon, thank you very much, and has been able to afford to buy herself and nice little car and lots of smart outfits despite the fact that her husband, Archie, stays at home with the kids. Actually, they work very well together: the Porters rent out rooms to returning university students and keep a part of their income as rent when the students move out. Archie looks after the place. She also has a poodle - a clipped one though not pink. Yet.

When they sleep automatically ,they sleep with their undies,so guests come and they are still like that. But I usually prefer to make them take a bath rather than changing it by the wardrobe :giggler: :king:

I may have posted this elsewhere on this site...but here's Don Lothario insisting to the Calientes that he was only showing Cassandra his new undies. I don't think they bought it.

I always try to get sims dressed first thing in the morning, that's why they have a dresser near the bed. and it's been my pet peeve since forever, because I couldn't find a mod to do that automatically. Tried various ideas, like installing a mod that cnanges clothes in a single room (to put it in the room next to bedroom), a door-mod that changes clothes when a sim walks through the bedroom door... Nope, none of those mods ever worked in my game.

It's too messy when sims walk around in their sleep clothes all the time. I can't explain that, because earlier I didn't care, but the last year changed everything.

It was the fastest way to trash the relationship between Don and the Calientes. Too bad Kaylynn wasn't there too...would have had three women lining up to smack him!

I seldom have Sims in underwear. They get showers first thing in the morning, and they're only in undies after WooHoo. As for children, they may sleep in undies during the day (like a Saturday afternoon nap) but they're in pajamas at night.

Yeah, what I have is Sigi's update of Crammyboy's original hack, which seems to work just fine with all EPs/SPs. I got it over at MATY. I was messing around with it a bit last night and discovered that it adds a separate options menu when you click on any Sim, so you can adjust each one so that some are really prudish and some are really...uh, loose and anything in between. So it's really customizable, like ACR is if you do it right, especially ACR 2.0. So now that's what I'm going to do as I play through rotations. 'Cuz I just find the random nekkidness hilarious.

For the person who was looking for a way to get Sims dressed in the AM: I have a hack that forces them to change into Everyday after making the bed. I have absolutely no idea where I got it or who made it, but it does exist. I do know that the file name is simply "getdressed," if that helps, but like I said I have no clue where I got it.

I think I have a similar hack (though I think that sunbathing came AFTER Seasons? Have to check that.) The naked cooking is dangerous. I think one should at least put a full apron on .... things can spatter, and OUCH! That would smart! :)

Yup. I think that's a case of a hack or two working a little TOO well. I have to make sure to turn the autonomous feature OFF, and make sure I pick the right "naked" option.. Even so, one or two happy nudies slip through.

Yes, that would smart! Thankfully, Sims seem to enjoy spatter-free cooking. For them, it's either all good...or they burn their house down. Nothing in between.

Sunbathing came with Bon Voyage and, unhacked, is only available on beach lots. Treeag made the Sunbathe Anywhere hack, which is here: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=295611 In combination with this nudist hack, now some of my pixel folk choose to sunbathe naked. They'll also choose to do Tai Chi, another Bon Voyage thing, naked. Which I find absolutely hilarious. Especially when they do it naked...ON COMMUNITY LOTS! Oh, and there's naked yoga, too. Anything that forces an outfit change on a Sim can result in nekkidness, with this hack, at least if the situation is right, according to the Sim in question.

My sims usually go dressed, but the grandmothers in my game (most of them, which is scary) go in their undies and it's AWKWARD.
