Missing the Call to Meal option?

I was wondering why my sims can't seem to "call to meal" anymore? Is it because I am using custom foods? I have all expansions, was wondering if there is a conflict somewhere. I tried to serve food, make group meals, make many etc etc.

Any ideas?

I doubt it's custom foods in general, as I have a lot of them and Call to Meal works. Sometimes you do have to wait until the sim serving has started eating, though, in my game, anyway.

It's the case with custom foods that have custom plates. These must also be older files, made before the option became available or something, not sure anymore. There is a general mod that deals with this, here on MTS.
