Did anyone ever get their bathtubs fixed? (the ones patch 1.26 broke) Since it was said TSRrifgix program or grant hess program doesn't fix them and I haven't found any manual way to fix the tubs. Did everyone just use a mod so the cats won't play on the tubs as a solution?

are you talking about CC tubs? I haven't noticed any issues with my tubs from the game, but then, my cats hardly ever go in the bathroom, since all their litterboxes are in the basement

Yup, CC tubs. Those were broken by the pets patch like over six months ago, I'm just really late at doing things

AFAIK CC tubs cannot be "fully" repaired and have to be replaced with updated versions. The rigfixer tool can correct some of the problems but not all of them, you'll still have odd sims placements here and there and cats will be teleported to oblivion when they go to play with it. The issues are bearable if you don't use cats alot though, it all boils down to that. To bring back the cat you have to reset it and if you gave it a silly name it will be a pain to type everyday but you can still lock the bathroom doors from them.

Short answer. No. Most were never fixed. Some were, but I honestly was too lazy to hunt down every bathtub in the EA launcher to uninstall and reinstall corrected versions. I just lock all the bathroom doors to pets so I don't have to chase the damn cats down all over the map.

Lisen recently fixed hers... which are the main CC tubs I use. Basically you have to check on a case-by-case basis, as usual :)

They can be repaired, you just have to do it manually, which is why it usually falls to the creators.

Just go back and look at which CC tubs you can't live without and see if the creator has updated them. If they have, go and replace it in your game. I got the Pets patch after Grant and TSR released their rig-fix tool. Yes I used both just in case. Anyway, I used that to fix the CC in my game that was broken by this patch. As the creators updated (not rig-fixed) their creations, I downloaded all of them and when I got most of the updated CC, I started a new game and installed all the new stuff, copied my saved games over and deleted the old folder. There are objects out there still not updated by their creators and I've not replaced them. Of course, there's a lot of new CC out there and this is a great excuse to cull your downloads. At least it was for me. Before 1.26 patch, I had 12 GB of 3rd party CC and growing. After I deleted anything pre-1.26 and replaced them plus got more new stuff I'm sitting at 8GB and growing :D

I don't know the details, but this is what Grant says: "They will have to re-import the rig from an EA (post pets) tub and re-integrate it into their tubs."
If you need more info than that, you might see if you can talk OM or someone into doing another tut :)
