I don't particularly like emo and scene kids, but I'd make the custom content since the choice for people who DO like them is pretty limited on this site. I'm not even going to get into detail about why I don't actually like them, but the truth is I don't like emos much more than i don't like scene kids, but both are kind of tiring to be around for more than an hour. I won't delete the social group I made since I guess there would be people who would want it to exist. I still had a ton of emo-ish custom content I made for Sims 2 before the whole game was uninstalled without my knowledge (It was on a shared computer though. ~Sighs~)

Oh by the way, someone pointed out I hardly comment in my own threads. I didn't actually notice I don't, so I'll try to comment more much to everyone's horror! :)

It's best to find a happy medium of self + customer. I've made plenty of house, looked at what they wanted, and slowly retreated to my happy place to attempt to fathom what was just asked of me. The best part about being creative is the challenge - working within means, but knowing when to cut corners on your terms and theirs.

Like one home, it was supposed to have 4 bedrooms (1 master, and 3 others) 2 bathrooms, 2 pools and a grotto, and lots of outdoor space - yeah, I know, I shutter thinking about it. Long story short, I pulled it together. Of course, it could have worse, like making an entire Castle on a 20x20. *twitch*

I can kind of get past at least some of the emo stuff by imagining they are simply skater stuff.

Really, it's what ever help you get by, It's making sure both of you like it. Once again, a happy medium.

I do a lot of TS2 clothing requests off of another forum, and I've had to deal with some horrendous colour no-no's, but eh, I don't complain. The way it works there is once you make so many things for a person, you get cred which boosts what you can do on there. :) I have around 5,000 in cred. You get 2-3 credits for each creation.
