No travel option in some worlds?

I will start by apologising if this question has been asked before, I did search a lot before posting this but to no avail.
The problem I am having is this: in some worlds that I tried to play, the option to travel doesn't appear. I also had a go at making my own world in CAW and when I tried to play it I also had this problem. Simply put, when I go to my sim's mobile, all the other options appear to call sims, etc, except to travel. Any ideas why? And any tips on how to fix the world I created also so I can get my sims to travel from it?
Any help is much appreciated.

If you happen to be using [Traveler], you only receive the "Travel" interaction after you save.

Does that perhaps explain the issue ? :)

wow, a reply from twallan himself :)) and it sorted my problem as well! Thank you so much! I can't believe it was that simple, and yes I am using it :) I have to say that without your mods, I would have quit playing sims long ago, you are doing an amazing job, they really should hire you to become a game developer.
I guess the reason I didn't notice this is because as soon as I;d load a new world I'd try to test it before doing anything I would want to save, and a save was all I needed, heh!
