Furniture, can it be imported?! The Mysterious Mystery!

So ive been wading though a few threads about modding this or that, but I have found very little, plus reading posts made in 2009 about the need to be able to put one's sim back into CAS can slow the mind a bit, but I digress.

So internet friends whom also enjoy TSM! Furniture can it be imported or not?

Give me the skinny, the buzz, the 411, what ever hip cool teen lingo you choose, but what is the current state of modding furniture into TSM?

No-one has so far, but I don't know if it's impossible. I'm sure if someone knew what they were doing they'd have some measure of success, but again I don't really know.
Grim said something ages back when he was testing clothing meshes in milkshape about objects, but I can't remember exactly what he said. It is in the forum somewhere though.
