Sims2Pack Clean Installer problems

I've been trying to install the newest version of "Sims2Pack Clean Installer", but I keep getting a message that says the earlier version needs to be uninstalled before I can continue. I've uninstalled it, but keep getting the same message. Is there any way to resolve this? I saw Gyongy had the same problem but could not see an answer to it :cry:

I was wondering whether there is a chance to get the Sims Clean Installer for the old Sims1 game, too? I remember having used a tool like this earlier and I am pretty certain the name is the same. it just worked for my Sims1 game, but I deinstalled it and must have lost the setup-data, too.

I don't know who created it then or if it was Mootilda as well.

Would be glad for any help.
