Stop weather? Anyway, the reddish part is GunMod's Radiance Light System 2.1 it has nothing to do with my weather, so to stop the reddish part you will have to go look at his download page to remove it...

Why won't it work?!!?! Okay so I downloaded the "C7 Weather" and "C7 Weather Update" Why won't it work?

See when I click on the sky and I choose a month but nothing happens. NOTHING!

Arizzle133, do you see the clouds atleast? or just the normal sims 2 sky?

It's ennoying that the rain is there and i removing it from Downloads map, and in the game i'll going on the buy mode catalog and pressing the remove button. But my family is slow and it's still rain

Have you tried to grab the sky in buy mode and then delete it?

Btw, do you think this object might have some conflicts with In Season EP that dur to release next spring ?

Yeah, I really don't think this object is working for the Sims 2 Pets. I have the normal American edition, and nothing happens when I place your dome object outside my house. It remains the same, Sims 2 skies. =[

This definitely -does- work in Pets, but when you install a new EP, your settings get knocked back down to the lowest levels. Go into the game options and turn up your view distance (as stated here) and it will work just fine, as it did before Pets.

this wont work for me for some reason and i installed it with Q express, its in the buy catalog, and when i put it there then the whole sky is white, and i tried everything it said to do, can you please help, this is a really cool upload!!

I had it before I installed pets and it didn't work, no matter what options I chose (season, sort of weather, etc.)

This is absolutely a remarkable download. It really helps and it gives us that weather feel without truly tying up the game! Its perfect and now I can actually use it for The Sims 2 when I'm doing weather forecasts for my news broadcasts! (No more EVERYDAY Sunny Days, LOL) Thanks a lot Chris!

I've tried out this mod on one of my lots last night. I have Pets installed. As you can see in the picture, only part of the sky is covered. I have readjusted my graphics settings back to where they were before I installed Pets. This particular lot is on a steep hill and I wondered whether this was the problem though I don't see why it should be. I will have a look on another, flatter lot later today and will report back if it's any different.

Cool mod, you did a great job!

I just have one question...is there any way to choose the weather and have it stay that way or is it completely random? I'm considering making a Sims' movie of "The Raven" for a Language Arts project (I would credit you for making the mod if I do choose to make the movie) and it would be nice if I could create the dark, dreary weather like described in the poem without having to wait for it.

Well, I tried looking at the mod in a flatter level lot and there doesn't seem to be a problem with it there - it looks just like it did before I installed Pets (which is a relief). Any idea why it's a problem in the lot as posted above?

Oh and CountryFan, it has a manual weather option.

maxon, Its because your lot is to close to the end of the neighborhood, the neighborhood don't allow stuff to be projected of of it, just move your lot away from the side

umm i downloaded it and nothing happen atall i put it in my downloads folder (is that right?) and its not in my buy mode catalog or anything

have i done it wrong?

ok its in my buymode now and i can place it on my lot but when i click on the sky all that comes up is manual weather, choose month and turn off weather. when i click on a month nothing changes apart from the colour of the ball
and when i click turn weather off nothing happens either

still think u did a great job though cause it seems to be working for other people

Hey did you go to the game, options-F5, then Game options, and put neighborhood view distance on extra large? that might be the problem?
