Picked Upload
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hello everyone! This is my very first career and I wanted to share it with you all. I know that iconofroses just uploaded an Event Planner Career but when I was working on this career, I had NO idea that she had made one herself. Plus, mine is different than hers, so it's not like this is the exact copy of iconofroses's career.
Anywho, this is my career, Events Planner. I really wanted to make this career because it seemed like a fun job for our simmies to have and at the tiem, there wasn't any type of job like this on MTS2. All of the chance cards for Level 1 through Level 10 are done (and quite comical too!), it doesn't write over any careers, it's EP Ready and been tested in-game. This career is based on the Politics career track, it being the most logical career track to base it on, so the reward is The Teleprompter. The main skills you'll need to focus on are charisma, creativity, logic, and a few body points. Sorry, no custom icon but once I learn how to create one, I will add it. I'm planning on making a teen/elder version but right now, all I have is the Adult version. The description for each level is below: Level 1-Events Planner Assistant Pay: $420 Working for Planners-R-Us is your real job into events planning! You'll need to work on your charisma, creativity, and logic to impress your boss and make your boss realize you're not just dead weight. Do this and you'll be own your in no time. Level 2-Birthday Planner Pay: $565 Even though this may not be top notch, planning birthday parties is a good way to learn how to be a great events planner. You'll need creativity to dazzle the kiddies and charisma to communicate with those demading parents. Level 3-Holiday Party Planner Pay: $630 Just because SimCity hires anyone, that doesn’t mean planning for SimCity holiday parties isn’t a great honor. Holidays are already a load of fun, so this job should be a piece of cake though remember, you’re still working. Work on your creativity, logic, and charisma and you’ll be having your festival guests singing for more. Level 4-Graduation Planner Pay: $710 Planning graduations is never an easy thing to do. You have needy guests, annoying principals, arrogant grads, the works. You’ve got your work cut out for you but if you work on your logic, charisma, and body, you’ll be planning better parties before you can say “Cowplants for hire!” Level 5-Convention Planner Pay: $775 You’re now planning all types of conventions, from Sim Wars lovers to Myshuno fanatics; you’ll be working with all types of people with all types of interest. Work on your charisma and creativity and you’ll be a hit with the coolest geeks around. Level 6-Dog Show Planner Pay: $890 Dog show competitions are serious business. Everything needs to be precise or anything could go possibly wrong. You have a lot of pressure on you, so work up on your logic and body, just in case a pack of dogs mistakes you for a big slab of steak. Level 7-Concert Planner Pay: $934 Local musicians have been hearing about your work and they want you to plan their concerts! This is the start of working with celebrity clients, so you better work on your creativity, charisma, and logic or you’ll be acting like a giddy groupie (and no one respects groupies!) Level 8-Wedding Planner Pay: $1090 Planning a wedding can be one of the most exciting and stressful things you’ll ever have to face in your life. You’ve got to order the cake, the flowers, make sure that the place of the wedding is still available, make sure everyone gets to the wedding on time, it never ends! Charisma, logic, and body is a necessity unless you want to piss off the already pissed off bride. Level 9-Dinner Party Planner Pay: $1240 You’re planning dinner parties for the elite and rich. You attend grand dinner parties, get to dress in luxurious clothing, and eat the most delicious meals out there. Remember when you used to work with those bratty kids and demanding parents? Work on your charisma, creativity, and logic and you’ll be at the top! Level 10-Celebrity Party Planner Pay: $1500 You’re at the top of your game now! You work with all the top celebrities out there, from Sydney Simton to Jenny Gomez, and plan big birthday bashes, extravagant weddings, wild after parties, and more. There’s no stopping you! Enjoy it now since when you get old, it’s all going to end with a blink of the eye. I hope you all enjoy! Don't forget to comment and press the Thank You button. ![]() Additional Credits: Maxis-For cretaing such a masterpiece of a game SimPE creators-Thank you for creating such an mindblowing program Superfly and Emma_Barrett-For creating such awesome career tutorials.
