Hi .

As promised, I upload my columns and arches I use to make ancient japanese houses. There are four items, two columns and two arches.

Straight column

This column is not so straight because it have 4 tile. The idea is you can place it on walls and as edges to the arches... You don't have to turn the cheat "moveobject" on : object intersection is allowed. You will understand with the screenshots.

Column for deck

This one is very special : this column can go through the floors under it, like deck's pillar. It have a height of 4 floors, 1 over, 3 under.

This two columns require Open for Business (cloned from the "Simply Round Column by Right Angle Industries"). Let's see this pictures ^^.




Like I said, the column goes through the deck under it and it looks like deck's pillar. As you can see, the water is not a problem... mountain either ^^.

Arches

This two arches were made to use with the columns. And with the wallpaper I use, this is nice :




With the column, the arch looks like a simple beam, the same of the wallapaper. So, the illusion is perfect .

The two arches does not require any EP (cloned from the french arch).








The result is nice, aren't it ?

P.S. : I guess you are wondering why my deck does not have pillars. Well, I made new one. It's easy, you have just to edit the 'deckfoundations' script. I attached it, you have to put it in "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2\TS Data\Res\Catalog\Scripts". But please, make a save of your 'deckfoundations' script. I don't want to crash your game ^^'.
In the game, you will see two new icons in the deck and foundation section (straight and diagonal). I don't know why but the icons are ones of the pool but the tool works perfectly (well in my game, if not in yours, delete my deckfoundations.txt and replace yours).
