This building comes from an experiment, 'only' about one year later than other creators (I was busy in another project :P).

I wanted to have apartments like row houses with their own side garages, but I did not want them to look like row houses. I built the garages and added them to the basement, and then up to the first floor, deleting here and there, funishing, adding roofs, transforming the residential lot into apartmentbase. It ran at first shot! Lucky uh?! (Sincerely, HP's tute is so easy to follow! )

But I soon discovered that garages do not not work in apartments: I could see my sims stuck on the street out of the garage until they died without going anywhere! So why keeping unuseless garages?! This is the final result: four flats on two levels in a building with a little common area plus another bigger common area created where the garages were previously built: why Maxis want sims living in apartments go out on taxi and not on their own cars is a mystery!!!!!.


Each apartments' rooms (fully furnished but for terraces) are built as follow:
base floor: living room, dining/kitchen
first floor: hobbyroom, restroom, bedroom, terrace


Common area's rooms are:
base floor: reading room, dancing room, living room
garage floor: game room, bar
little garden stripe all around the building


Rents are a bit high (3335-3504 simoleons): the price together with the one-bedroom solution may be suitable to couples or singles with high-paid jobs.
