SCREENSHOTS
This house was built for a 12 part series. It documents every single decision made in this lot, and shows everything I did in real time, which took about 8 hours 40 minutes in total. Of course, this series is not for everyone, but for those of you interested you can watch the entire process of construction here:
Let's Build a House
The construction of this house originally started back in March of this year. Incidentally it has taken me all the way up till August to complete. Of course, as mentioned before, in reality it was only just below 9 hours, but the number and length of breaks I took were quite large :P
This lot is aimed for a rich family that wants a fairly contemporary home that is designed to be placed near the beach. The actual lot size is 40x38, but will fit very comfortably in a 40x40 with no issues.
Lastly, sorry about all the expansions and stuff packs required. I probably did not use all of them, but I am not sure which packs the content comes from, so I had to check all of them.
Here's a nice picture of the rear entertaining area at night time for you:
Lot Size: 40x38
Lot Price:
Furnished: $320,771
Unfurnished: $151,419
Additional Credits:
Thanks to everyone who watched the series and provided feedback throughout the entire building process, it was greatly appreciated!

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
