These items provide a very basic way to let sims have personal funds: bars of gold and other valuables that they can stash in their room or keep in their inventory. The gold bars are stackable and will fit on shelves, all items are inventory-able.

The zip contains four packages:

  • Unicorn Children’s Bank: 200§ ‒ Custom catalogue object that references the decorative unicorn from Kid’s Decorations.
  • Bar of Gold ‒ 1.000§ ‒ Custom object: a single gold bar
  • Five Bars of Gold ‒ 5.000§ ‒ Custom object: stack of five gold bars
  • Bag of Cash ‒ 10.000§ ‒ Custom catalogue object (de-rewardified) that references the Maxis reward thingy

All of these have a selling value that is 25% higher than the actual item price, to counteract the default 20% deprecation in game. Note that when selling an entire stack of items from a sim’s inventory, the sum total is apparently calculated from the buying value, so in order to not lose money one needs to sell them individually or plunk them in world and sell in Buy/Build.

All items are in Deco > Statues for lack of a better idea.

If you want to do more advanced things like have sims take furniture with them when moving, make arbitrary objects portable etc, you can use scumbumbo’s Packing Crate -- these items are just a shortcut for simpler situations.

Polygon Counts:

One gold bar ‒ High Poly: 76V/44F

Five gold bars ‒ High Poly: 380V/220F
Five gold bars ‒ Mid Poly: 120V/60F
Five gold bars ‒ Sun Shadow: 40V/40F
