Aesthetically pleasing as always. I wanted to visit this lot myself and spend the day in the serene atmosphere. Kudos to you and your incredibly creative eye for detail.

You've created a true work of art! It's absolutely gorgeous! You've been so meticulous with every little detail; the furnishings, the landscaping, the architecture, it's simply stunning!

Really love what you did here, and your description on how and why you developed the layout.
You are an amazing and inspirational builder and I thank you for sharing this with the rest of us!

This lot is about as stereotypical as you can get with putting as many mismatched Asian themed objects in one place as possible, stereotypical only in the eye of someone who has never seen anything remotely Asian.
I'm not even talking about the point of having sets of swords hanging from pillars in the middle of a 'living room' permanently graced by a Western set of stairs and lamps, Japanese kodomatsu and floor mats and Mainland Asian style pillars and random decor. Random is the key word here.
It's like the creator thought to him/herself: 'maybe I should use this decorative object from Bon Voyage somewhere, but it doesn't look quite in place anywhere on the lot, you know I'll just put two in there so it looks symmetrical and gloss over the fact they didn't belong there in the first place'.

This lot is the equivalent of building an in-game church, filling it with objects from all Abrahamic religions AND Santa Claus, and then uploading it as a 'stereotypical Western monastery' to ModTheSims.

And don't even get me started about the lot supposedly being 'minimalistic', it's about as minimalistic as an Asian brocante shop gets, I'll give it that.

Besides that the lot was a funny addition to the collection of custom lots on ModTheSims and that I can appreciate, I really like the idea of a crazy orientalist hoarder's weeaboo mountain home in my 'hood so I will be sure to download this masterpiece and give it the ironic hipster spotlight it deserves.

That's what "stereotype" in fact means: the pre-formed opinion a given group of people has about the customs/aesthetics and even behaviour of another group. It doesn't require firsthand contact with or in-depth knowledge of the group the stereotype is about and doesn't need to be factually correct, either. For example if I go for a a stereotypical roadworks site I include beer bottles and lots of tools that look as of they MIGHT in some way beconnected to roadworking, because that's what the general populace expects to be there.
The creator made it clear from the beginning that this was what he wanted to achieve, so I don't see the need for an acidic comment like yours.

The terrain makes the lot so interesting. It's the perfect setting. I know how tedious it is to raise terrain to just the right height, but it was sure worth it for this beautiful lot.

HOUSE of the Lotus Blossom? More like 'PALACE' of the Lotus Blossom. It looks so regal and gorgeous. I feel any family that moves in would be royalty.
