Hi, these little guys are under the KIDS category, either with furniture (the bed icon) or when you click on the icon for the crib mobile. They're shy I think, I had a time finding them too. I thought they were under toys.

P.S. Forgot to mention: While in build mode purchase them and then just drag item onto the child's bed. You can change color anytime too. I usually put the guard at the foot of bed because simkids and friends like to sit on their beds sometimes, but I've also shrunk it and placed it beside the pillow too. Use the MOO cheat, and raise and lower the item using up/down keys 9 and 0.
