A hiatus from my massive custom content collection was as enlightening as it was enjoyable. That said, I love creating new materials for this game and cannot stop myself using the custom items I've so long collected and made myself.


With that said, this home is truly custom. I wanted to create a small batch of dark walnut/mahogany wood floor & trim to design a house with. The house had to be classic-looking but modern-enough. The plan I chose is probably from the early-mid 80s, but I found it in a house plan book from the early 00's. I also found the plan online just for this upload, lucky day! If I won the lottery and could build any house I choose, this would probably be it. I love the expansive, sprawling floor plan and regal look of the French style.

This "custom" home features:
- Mahogany trim, paneling, wood floors, doors, and more
- Elegant floor-to-ceiling bay windows
- Formal living room, dining room, and family room
- 3 bedrooms + den
- Open eat-in kitchen
- Huge wooden deck with hot tub
- Large glass-enclosed covered patio







Due to how I built the lot, you will need to place it on a "corner" - the driveways and mailbox face the "side" and do not face the "front." I made mahogany recolors of the dining room chairs that did not show up in the lot file. I've included them as separate, optional downloads for my fellow matchy-match designers. I also made a recolor of the Oaktowne door (and arch - they are slaved) but it did not show up in my file either, and is also a separate download. I'm not sure why my game doesn't pick up on certain files.
